From Rebecca of The Studio B… Liz knew that she wanted to marry Doug, but she wasn’t entirely sure that she wanted to have a wedding. At first she thought it would be nice if they went to the courthouse to get married and then go out to dinner at their favorite restaurant afterwards. However, as plans often do, things changed and Liz found herself planning a wedding. She and Doug chose to have an intimate ceremony in Mayfield Park, which is home to several beautiful (and vocal!) peacocks. Following the exchanging of vows, everyone went over to Barley Swine, one of Austin’s most popular restaurants. The couple had rented out the entire restaurant and a spectacular eleven course meal was served! Guests mingled as the different courses were served and a wonderful time was had by all.
